Introduction

The mobile application “Le Petit Compendium” is available for download on the App Store, published by Apple Inc., and Google Play, published by Google Inc.

The Le Petit Compendium website and mobile application are published by Le Petit Compendium Inc.

This application is designed for use on mobile devices running Android or iOS operating systems.

Le Petit Compendium provides an interface displaying drugs in alphabetical order, defined by trade name, generic name, or scientific name. The application provides information on the drug class and principal indications.

Article 1: Definitions

In these Terms of Use, the following capitalized terms shall have the meanings below:

Users: All persons using the Application.

Application or Mobile Application: All mobile applications published by Le Petit Compendium Inc.

1. Object

1.1 Acceptance of Terms of Use

These Terms of Use establish the legal framework for the use of the website and mobile application by Users and the relationships established between them and the website or application.

By using the service, Users acknowledge that they have read these Terms of Use and agree to them fully and unconditionally.

These Terms of Use may be modified at any time without notice by Le Petit Compendium Inc. The applicable terms are those in effect at the time of use. Users are responsible for reviewing these Terms of Use regularly.

Users are responsible for obtaining the necessary equipment (hardware, mobile devices, etc.) and software, as well as telecommunication services (Internet, SMS, etc.), to use the Application.

Le Petit Compendium Inc. is not responsible for any inability to access or use the Application due to inadequate equipment, network congestion, or any force majeure event as defined by applicable law.

Article 3: Use of the Application

Users are solely responsible for the consequences of using the Application’s content.

Le Petit Compendium Inc. is not liable for the use of services by Users or for any incomplete or outdated information provided by the Application.

It is strongly advised not to substitute a prescription without consulting a doctor, pharmacist, or other medical authority.

All texts, comments, works, illustrations, and images in the Application are protected by intellectual property laws in Canada and internationally.

In accordance with the Intellectual Property Code, only private, non-commercial use is permitted. Any other use without prior authorization from Le Petit Compendium Inc. or other rights holders constitutes infringement and is punishable under intellectual property laws.

Reproduction, in whole or in part, of any elements of the Application without authorization is strictly prohibited.

“Le Petit Compendium” is a registered trademark in Canada and other countries. The logo, name, or terms containing “Le Petit Compendium” may not be reproduced, used, or distributed without permission.

The Application’s content is protected by copyright legislation and applicable international conventions. Use of the Application is permitted solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Users are prohibited from modifying, copying, reproducing, uploading, posting, transmitting, commercially exploiting, or distributing the Application’s content in any way.

Article 6: Jurisdiction – Applicable Law

The language of these Terms of Use is English; however, the French version shall prevail over any translations in case of discrepancies.

Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms of Use shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.

These Terms of Use are governed exclusively by Canadian law.
